Can I hunt crows and squirrels with my air rifle?

I bought this air rifle such a long time ago and I probably need to clean it. Any way I want to start hunting with it and I was wondering if it was strong enough to even kill them.

mines the very top.

If your gun is a Daisy 880 (which is the gun in the picture you linked to), its got right about 7.4-7.6 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. That's more than enough to hunt and kill squirrels (which take 3 ft-lbs of impact energy to kill) and crows (3-5 ft-lbs impact energy to kill) provided you limit yourself to head-shots at close range (20-25 yards, or less).

If your gun is Daisy 105 (which is the specs say is the gun in the top slot of the website), then its got right about .85 ft-lbs of muzzle energy which isn't enough to kill anything. It could wound a squirrel or a crow (maybe, at 5 feet...), but not kill them outright.

Edit:

There's something screwy about that website you linked to. They're using a picture of an Daisy 880 on the section of their site that is describing a Daisy 105. So much for professional quality control on e-commerce sites. Can I hunt crows and squirrels with my air rifle?
Squirrels, no. There fur is too much for a bb going that slow to pass through. Even if it made it to the skin, it won't go through or very deep whatsoever. Mine shoots around 350 and can't pass through the skin at 5 yards.

Crows, yeah, pretty easily. Their feathers aren't very thick and you Will have to hit them in the head. I shoot them all the time, but between how quick the BB drops and how inaccurate they are, my farthest has only been 25 yards. So, i'm pretty sure it's gonna be a fatal shot at about 10 - 20 yards.
having had that ';gun'; i can tell you its way to weak.

if you really want to hunt squirrels and crows get a .22 or 20 gauge. both you can get for around or a little over $100

and can ethically take crow and squirrel. that ';gun'; is more of a can popper, and was never meant for hunting.
Never shot one of those, but I did have a similar little daisy bb gun, and it's taken a few crows. Thing is, I have to pump it 50 times, and I'm not exaggerating that number.
No. if you really need to kill them than i'd save up for a crosman phantom 500 which shoots at 495 fps. usind crosman wadcutters you could easiely kill a squirell and maybe a crow.

dont even try to use yours. that thing shoots less than my airsoft pistol.
sorry no
that looks like a daisy 880. i own one and have taken rabbits and squirrels out to 15yrds or so ! just aim at the temple and it should work well !
yes
