Do Crows hunt Squirrels?

Or rather could a crow kill a squirrel or vice versa?Do Crows hunt Squirrels?
Crows are scavengers. They do not hunt. They just eat dead stuff that they find, like road kill. That is why they are protected by law.Do Crows hunt Squirrels?
Crows don't eat squirrels.

';Being omnivorous, their diet consists of almost anything: seeds, fruits, nuts, insects, mollusks, earthworms, eggs, nestlings, frogs, mice, garbage and carrion. They are attracted to garbage dumps and have a well-known fondness for melons and corn.';

Crows are hunted by owls.
I dont think that they will HUNT but will eat if found dead

  1. I've watched a crow kill and eat select parts of two young squirrels in our front yard in the last two days. I haven't seen him swoop and do that actual kill, but there was no other cause of death possible...they were otherwise untouched critters inside a fenced yard. Not road kill.
