The Crosman Storm XT is powerful enough to hunt squirrels with, but its a bit light for possums. You're better off hunting possums, raccoons, and other large small game animals with a .22 or .25 caliber air-rifle that turns out around 800-900 fps (or more).Is the Crosman Storm XT a good air rifle to hunt squirrels and possums with?
i shot both the squirrel it died instantly. now the possum you have to be close and shoot staright to the head. use good strong pellets also. i killed mine in two shots but like i say i was close.
good for squirrel, but id keep my shots close and only to the temple on the possum! benjamin 392 would be a better choice for possum
