Number 1.聽 Check your state hunting laws, unless you're going to use an air rifle in most states it is unlawful discharge of firearms within so many feet of a dwelling.聽 My state 500 feet.Number 2.聽 A bag peanuts will work fine as bait and they're cheap.Number 3.聽 Birds will eat it.Number 4.聽 Parboil the squirrel until its tender, roll pieces in flour and fry until golden brown.聽 Mix flour and milk in pan boil until thick squirrel gravy.聽 Serve with mashed potatoes, biscuits and vegetable of choice.Number 5 .聽 Preserving the pelt should be done quickly, if fur pulls out of skin easily it's too late.Any one that hunts squirrel in there back yard can answer or not in back yard?
1. I use busted up pecans. I also have oak trees in my yard that attract them.

2. Don't know about bread. Birds will probably eat it all.

3. Quarter it, and mix vegetables and make it into stew.

4. Skin it, scrape all fat off the inside, stretch it out, sprinkle salt on it, let it dry.
1. Bird seed with Peanut Butter

2. probably, they are scavengers

3. STEW

4. The native american indians would break the skull and spread the brain over the inside of the pelt. it works, do it quickly after killing it.

Good Luck
