What can i do with a hunted squirrel?

I live on a greenbelt and there is FOREST and SQUIRRELS EVERYYWHERE! and i got a hunting license and a .22 calibre pellet gun at 600fps. if i killed a squirrel, what can i do with it?What can i do with a hunted squirrel?

cook it up





~ 1 squirrel per person, cleaned


~ favorite seasonings


~ medium onions, chunked, 1 per squirrel











Place onions evenly in a greased roasting pan.





Season squirrel(s) to taste inside and out with your favorite seasoings.





Place squirrel(s) on top of onions.





Cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.





Remove foil and cook 10 minutes to brown meat. Turn halfway through.





Serve and enjoy.
You can eat the meat, which is what most people do with them. I also believe you may be able to sell the fur, though if the price guide in Fur Fish and Game is any indication you won't get more than $.50 to $1 for the best quality/prime skins that have been properly fleshed and dried from most fur-buyers.
you can grill them or boil them pull the meat off the bone and put it in a soup or what i like to do is after pulling the meat off the bone i put it in a crock pot with bbq sauce and put it in a sandwich like you would do for pulled pork or beef you need a lot to make a meal there is not alot of meat on them
do like i do eat em and use the tail for tying flys.


if your not going to eat em or your gonna leave em lay then do not go hunting at all, that is a complete waste

Leave it there, make a hat, try eating it, collect a lot of them and make a coat from their skin? My buddy and i just shoot them for fun.
well that gun will tear them up so id leave them but if you are a fishermen you can save the tails and have them tanned some flys use squirell tail fur
