The best one to use is the one that's legal to use in your state or province. There's a lot of places where the use of airguns for hunting is against the law in the USA.What is the best pellet gun for hunting squirrel and rabbit?
Any well-made European or American) model, and I recommend .22 caliber instead of regular .177 pellets. You can get by with the smaller caliber, but rabbit coats can be quite dense and you're likely to just injure them painfully and never get your hands on the rabbit with a .177 (BB-sized) pellet.

I use a .22 Diana with a muzzle velocity around 1000 fps. That's adequate for any small game at reasonable distances. And it's accurate enough to do the job.

There is no substitute for money in selecting an airgun. Mostly, you get what you paid for, and expecting a cheap airgun, especially most Asian-made ones, to be both powerful %26amp; accurate is just unreasonable.

It's better to wait, save up your money, and get something that will do what you want and make you happy for years. I did it this way, and have had 15 years of sniping varmints on the farm. Of course I spent nearly 200 bucks, but as I said -- you get what you pay for.

Unless you're spending around a hundred and a half, or more, you're settling for mediocre, or even very poor, quality.
