I would suggest a rifle with a little more power.

If you`re not old enough for a .22 cal rimfire, then I would suggest a rifle like this.

Happy hunting/shooting!!Does anyone think this is a good gun for squirrel hunting.?
I used that same rifle to remove and awful lot of ';nuisance'; animals from our home as a kid.
NO invest in a 22LR*
If you are hunting Squirrel during a regular small game hunting season, and licensed, in an area thats allows firearms, a .410 shotgun or a .22 caliber rimfire rifle is a better choice than a pellet gun. Any of the H%26amp;R single shot shotguns in .410 makes a great squirrel gun and can be purchased at Wall Mart for under $100.00. I heartily recommend the Model 10/22 Ruger for a lifetime of shooting. But, any gunshop probably has a few older .marlin or Savage or Stevens .22ca bolt action rifles or Marlin/Glenfield Model 60 semi auto rifles for a great price well under $100.00.

I f you are hell bent on a Pellet gun for backyard pest, I would stay with a pellet rifle that can produce at least 900-1100 FPS with a hunting pellet. The Daisy may not be able to put out that kind of velocity. See another question here for info on a Marksman brand pellet rifle I bought at Wall Mart that will meet all your requirements.

Local laws apply! Be safe- Stay LEGAL!!!
Maybe at very close range that would work but .22 LR is the best.
I have no clue on guns but be sure you have a squirrel lisence that you carry on you and that you aren't hunting them out of season. The gun won't do you any good behiind bars if you get caught. They arrested a guy in our neighborhood this summer for shooting squirrels without a lisence and out of season. He's serving time now.
nope .only 655 fps ?
um mabey if u want to kill a sparrow at 10 feet away with that little toy, but a 22 long rifle with a 4x scope is great
Use a .22?
i would use a .22 cal rifle. it has a lot of speed and is very accurate. make sure you have a clean shot though because they can go for almost 2 miles i believe. a good gun would be a savage...you can get one for around 200 dollars
No, it isn't any good for squirrel. You'll just injure them and then it will take you a full minute to pump the gun up 10 times and shoot the squirrel again.

If you are going to use a pellet gun go with at least a single cock spring piston making 1000fps or higher. Use Gamo PBA pellets and you wont have a problem
if you want to take out squirrels, crosman makes a .22 co2 rifle that is about $75 and has some nice knock down power. its the crosman 2250. check out pyramidair.com and look under air rifles. if you want to just scare them away or make them jump, hit em up with a little .177 rifle...
.22 rimfire, or .17 hmr, most states dont allow airguns for hunting
Check out a .22 made by Ruger. They are available in pistol and in rifle. Either will do the job. A .22 is better than an air gun.
This gun is too weak to effectively shoot squirrels. You should wait until you are old enough and get a decent 22 rifle like the Ruger 10-22.If you intend to do this the right way that this us the way to go..Good Luck!
Yes, this rifle is great at short range shots to the neck or between the little critter's eyes, Heck I've pulled off many one shot kills with slightly bigger game like rabbit and racoon with that exact gun, only mine was cheaper. (These shots are taken with the full 10 pumps though) By the way try using the cheap target (FLAT) pellets.
While it would probably do the job, I'd say its a little underpowered. I like to go with a minimum of 1,000 fps.

I have a slightly different model of this one:

It performs well, easy and quick to reload. You can also get this in .22, that one shoots at 850 fps or so, and that would be good for squirrels as well. Hope this helps, good luck with the squirrels.
OK little suggestion till you legal age get or make a Good slingshot \ cause best way too get rid of squirrel is a 410 shotgun or a pistol that shoot,s rat shot wide pattern better hit provability
