Just sleep without pants under the trees. Your poison nut will do all.
You'll need something thats fast, accurate and dependable. Look for 800fps+ as a minimum in either .177 cal or .22 cal.





RSW, Winchester, Gammo and Crossman are good brands to choose from. RWS is the most premier brand, while Winchester has the best bang for the buck.





You should also choose your pellet accordingly. For closer distances use a hollow-point pellet. For longer distances use pointed or round-nose pellets.





Whatever you pick, you have to be able to use it properly and accurately. Practice, practice, practice until you're as accurate as possible and don't try to take unwise or foolish shots.
Don't use a pellet gun, get a .17 HMR or a .22 WMR. They are more fun and will kill a Squirrel first shot.

Forget a pellet gun, use a flame thrower, the show is spectacular.





Note to all the anti hunting wimps: If you have ever had to replace bird feeders or woodwork that have been ruined by squirrels you would be more understanding. Also if you have had the majority of a vegetable crop eaten by squirrels.
I would not recommend using a pellet gun for squirrel hunting. A pellet gun does not have enough power to kill a squirrel. Use a 22 cal.
There is no best pellet gun for hunting, PERIOD. A Marlin Model 60 is a good starter, and .22 cal. is the MINIMUM you should hunt with.
Is your life so pathetic and boring that you need to go shoot innocent squirrels for fun? They have a life too, and it's just as valuable as any of ours. I don't understand how you could be so heartless as to cause pain and suffering to an animal living their lives, for fun. Shame on you.
