How do you aim a 12ga when squirrel or turkey hunting?

I already know how to align the bead, but are you supposed to close one eye or leave them both open when shooting a still target. How do you aim a 12ga when squirrel or turkey hunting?
Keep both eyes open with the shotgun. When aiming see no part of the gun barrel except the bead in dead center of the target. Do this every time you shoot a animal and it will help ensure consistent and accurate shooting. How do you aim a 12ga when squirrel or turkey hunting?
Don't worry about the bead. Just look down the barrel. If your head is how it should be on the gun, then you can just move the gun barrel, and everything should line up.

With turkey, you aim a little bit below the head, for squirrel, you point at the whole squirrel, or most of it.

Keep both eyes open. Your not shooting a rifle. Shooting a rifle and a shotgun- both are different.
I close one eye and leave one open, but some people prefer having both eyes open so they can see more, it's all preference, not necessary.

aim at the head for a squirrel and aim for the middle to upper neck on a turkey.
Why would you close an eye? God gave you 2 eyes so you could watch a snake and look for a stick at the same time. Don't be lazy. Put that eye to work doing sump'n
Traditionally one does not aim a shotgun but merely points using the bead as reference. If your shotgun has real sights, open or ghost ring, then by all means align them like the rifle sight they are.
Close one eye and place the bead on the center of the body or if your a good shot and have a good shot then aim at the head...squeeze the trigger.
i never close my eyes when i shoot rabbits or squirrels and i have killed loads of rabbits and squirrels but it depends on whats comfortable for your shooting ways.
Usually if you are right handed your right eye is dominant and most right handed people align their right eye down the top of gun and close left eye to aim.
I was always told to leave both eyes open but this can be hard for some people so try with what works for you and just keep at it.
If you're right handed close your left eye when aiming, if you're left handed close your right eye when aiming. You're supposed to close one eye.
Ya don't aim a shotgun u point the barrel at whatever u want then slap the trigger.
depens on what ur good at. practice both ways and what ever suits u better
